Ethan's quilt was designed to reflect Ethan's enjoyment, respect and knowledge of nature in the form of mountains, seas, clouds and sunrise.
Dark blue seas,
Rising to shades of blue mountains,
Piercing shades of white clouds,
Into colours of a sunrise.
Sail the seas,
Climb the mountains,
Look through the clouds,
Enjoy the sunrise.
The pattern used was the Diamond Tides Quilt Pattern.

The Orange Tones are Persimmon, Terra Cotta, Petal, Cayenne, Petal, Spice
The Blue Tones are Marine, Midnight, Ocean, Rain, Seascape, Dove
The quilting was done using Glide 40 thread/Captain Navy with an 8" pantograph pattern/Mountain High. Look also for the words Climb Every Mountain about half way up the quilt.
