Reegan enjoys walks, runs, hikes and adventures on thebeaches and finding seashells, seaglass and pebbles. Now that she lives by the ocean she explores the beaches often. This quilt will hopefully be an inside cozy reminder of her adventures by the sea.
The pattern used for Reegan's Quilt was the
"Seashell Sampler Quilt Pattern Pack"
using all four blocks,
the scallop, the conch, the nautilus and the wave.
Fabric chosen for this quilt were chosen with colours of beaches, seashells, waves, ocean and sand in mind.
The white found in all the blocks-Waves-White on White: Morning Mist VIII
The sandy colour found in the waves block, the background of the conch seashell and scallop seashell and in the Nautilus seashell-Spectrastic Continuum -Tea Stained
The seafoam colour found in the waves block and the sashing- Motley -Tommy
The aqua colour found in the waves block and scallop seashell-Motley-Arnold
The dark aqua colour found in the waves, the scallop seashell, the background of the nautilus seashell and the border-Spectrastic-Dark Teal
Four brownish colours were used for the Nautilus Shell

-Twinkle by Laundry-Milk Chocolate
-Chalk and Charcoal-Expresso
Two colours were used for the Conch Shell
-Motley-Daria
-Chalk and Charcoal-Marine
I quilted Reegan's quilt using my new Grace Q'nique 16x on my new Q-Zone Queen Frame. First quilt on the new set-up.
